Charlotte Cocker Rescue rescues dogs from kill-shelters and animal control agencies throughout North Carolina and nearby states. Many rescued dogs have health issues but we give them veterinary care and grooming to ready them for adoption. We embrace the challenge of addressing the needs of needy and abandoned dogs - ones that simply need some care and some time. We try not to turn our backs on any dog needing rescue.

On average we rescue between 50 and 60 dogs a year. At any one time we typically have about 25 to 30 dogs in care, and approximately 50 dogs a year are adopted.

Meet a few CCR dogs who were adopted and adapted well to the good life. They all say: “Thank you Momma Donna”.
