NO CATS and NO BARNYARD LIVESTOCK FOR THIS COCKER GIRL. She will do best with children 10 and older. Needs socialization and house training help. Fenced yard preferred.
Meet Myla, a black n white parti cocker spaniel girl. She was 3 years old in November of 2016. She came to rescue as an owner give up along with another cocker girl. Her owner adopted her as a young puppy. Her name is short for milagro (miracle) because she did fight for her life when her family got her and she survived. She and the other cocker girl were kept outside in a barn with livestock and cats. THEY DID NOT DO WELL LIVING WITH THE BARN ANIMALS OR THE CATS. We will not place her into this type of living situation as the owner wanted a better life for her. She has never lived inside a house. The family was sad to give the two girls up but they wanted to do the right thing to help them have a better, brighter future and be loved in a home environment.
She is heartworm negative and is now spayed. She will need help and patience with house training, leash training and socialization skills. She is good with children age 10 and older. She is lovable and a nice girl. She loves to run and play and will do best with a securely fenced yard. She does not like cats and cannot be around any kind of livestock. Please give this sweet cocker girl a 2nd chance to find a loving home where she can learn to be a good indoor companion, your new best friend and sweet baby girl.
