***This nice cocker girl needs a home with a secure, fenced yard and someone who is willing to work with her on socialization skills. .Please donate to her care to help us with vet costs until she can find her forever home.
Meet June, a 3 to 5 year old buff n white cocker girl with a long tail. She and a boy cocker were found as strays wandering around a NC business area. You could tell they had been out for awhile, alone and abandoned. A nice lady didn't want to see them get hurt, so she contacted animal control and while waiting for them, she made a make shift fenced area. She was able to secure both of them. June had a cherry eye that needed to be fixed and she needs lots of help with socialization skills. The shelter folks asked for rescue help and CCR said YES. They came into rescue skittish and jumpy.
She is a smaller size cocker girl, spayed, heartworm negative and her bilateral cherry eyes have been fixed. She had an ear infection that has been treated. She had to have a dental and she got cleaned up and groomed. Her cherry eye has been fixed, but she does have dry eye and will need medicine. She will do best in a home with someone who is willing to work with her on socialization skills and she will need a secure, fenced yard. If you can be patient with her and teach her the things she needs to know, she would love to be your sweet baby girl and a great house dog companion. In her past, it seems she has only lived outside, so your understanding with house training will be greatly appreciated. She would love to have a 2nd chance and learn to be a great indoor companion for you to spend quality time with and love. She is a happy girl and eager to find her forever home. Please donate to her care until she can be adopted. She deserves a loving home! Thank you for your kindness!
