Meet Tucker, he just turned 16 months old on July 9th. He was born March 9th of 2017. He is a black cocker spaniel boy with a natural tail that was never docked. He came to rescue with Rosie, his sister and Sailor, his brother. They were a litter of three born to a cocker spaniel mom. The owner surrendered them to this rescue because she was moving, had to many dogs and just couldn't take proper care of them. He is now neutered, current on shots and all vet care. He was never socialized, house trained or leash trained. He will need your patience, guidance and some training.
He is heartworm negative, his ears have been treated and he is a healthy boy. We have been working with him on socialization, house training and leash training. He is an active, very nice guy and has made good progress with the issues he never learned from his owner. He is a happy, happy, care free kind of guy who enjoys playing with the other dogs and his sibling brother. A new owner will need to be patient with him in a new environment and not blame him unnecessarily because he had no guidance as a young pup growing up. He is a friendly guy, just give him a chance to know you, and then he will be ok. He is a playful boy and might just make you smile at his cuteness. He will make you happy to adopt him as your new best friend. And, he will be a wonderful companion for you to spend your life with. This cocker boy deserves a 2nd chance to have the loving home that he never had with his past owner. He will do best in a home with a dog social pal who is playful and can be his buddy. He would love to spend quality time with you indoors. Maybe he can be your walking partner and you can get some exercise together. He would love a fenced yard to play in when the weather is nice outside.
Tucker's Adoption fee is: $400.
