DONATIONS APPRECIATED: NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE: Stewart's initial needs have been addressed one by one and he had to have heartworm treatment. Please donate to help us with his vet costs. He came to CCR badly matted and horribly neglected. He was thin, anemic, with ear infections, partial facial paralysis, tick disease and advanced heartworm that needed attention ASAP or he could have died a slow death. Your donation in any amount is appreciated, greatly needed and is tax deductible. Please donate to help Stewart so that he can eventually find his forever home. We thank you for your kindness.

Meet Stewart, his life has not been so good. He is a neutered, buff n white cocker spaniel boy about 5 to 7 years old. He was found as a stray wondering the streets by a good Samaritan who took him to a NC shelter. He was loaded with ticks, badly matted, muddy and filthy dirty with dirt caked on his legs and underside like no one had taken care of him for quite awhile. The shelter couldn't adopt him out because he tested as heartworm positive.

When we brought him to rescue he was cleaned up, groomed, treated for ticks (they were falling off of him), anemia and bad ear infections. He also has partial facial paralysis from neglect of past care. He has had a dental, is now current on shots and we fed him 3 meals a day because he came in very thin and needed to gain weight. He is a sweet, very happy dog with a sparkling personality. Please sponsor him by sending in donations to help with his care, he has had some issues that we have had to take care of health wise just recently. We would like to find this boy an exceptional, very dedicated dog owner to adopt him who can give him a loving home environment and the good life that he deserves. He will be a wonderful dog for someone to adopt, love and spend quality time with as a favorite companion after he is feeling better. He needs a savvy dog owner who will go the extra mile to do whatever he needs done to keep him healthy.

My adoption fee will be: $350 after I am feeling better and can be adopted to a home.
