This busy, friendly cocker girl needs an active home environment with someone who can get her some guidance and training help. We highly recommend a home with children 12 plus years old as she might be to much for younger kids.
Meet Piper, a reddish- sable colored 15 month old female Cocker Spaniel. She is an owner surrender because she was too energetic and busy for her family. The owner loved her and really wanted her, but she was just more than they could handle. This said, they re-homed her to a new owner who was an elderly person. Sadly, this older person quickly returned her to them saying she was just to busy and active. In her best interest, she needs to find a new forever home with a younger, more active owner. She will do best with someone who can play with her, take her for walks, has a secure-fenced yard (so that she can run and play on nice days) and she will benefit from some guidance and training help. She is an escape artist so No apartment or condo living because she is quick to dart out a door and you will be running after her. We suggest using a crate when you need to transport her in the car. A home with children 12 plus years old is highly recommended.
She is heartworm negative, micro-chipped and current on vet needs. She is a smaller cocker who is a bit chunky right now so a walking partner would be ideal. She is a happy, happy girl. She is an active, friendly, very busy girl who will do best with a middle aged active type owner couple or family who would enjoy adopting a wonderful furbaby girl. She needs lots of walks (maybe as your waking partner), lots of attention, love and playtime and she would love to spend quality time with you. She absolutely needs a securely fenced yard where she can run and play on nice days and then come back inside to be with you. She pulls hard on a leash, so you will need to hang on tight. We suggest using a harness for her so that you don't end up chasing after her if the collar were to come off. If you are an active, energetic family who would love a sweet, happy cocker girl, you might be the perfect match for this youngster. She would love to be your new best friend and a great indoor companion for you to love and pamper. She is healthy, decently house trained and would love a home with another active cocker who would could be her playmate, BFF and a great companion friend to hang out with in the house or outside to do their business and play.
Her adoption fee is: $400.
