Meet Millie, a 2 1/2 year old red cocker spaniel girl. Her owner died a few months ago and his sister took her into her SC home. She has 2 dogs of her own, so she updated shots and got her heartworm tested. This sweet girl was so glad to get a home with a family member and not end up in a shelter. Only thing that caused an issue for her is that the sister is handicapped and wheelchair bound. She is a shy girl and very timid so she found out real quick that she was terrified of being anywhere near that wheelchair. The lady loved her and felt bad that she was having such a difficult time. Millie was trying so hard to fit into this new loving home environment knowing that this lady had been nice enough to do the right thing after her brother had died. To be fair to the needs of this cocker girl, she contacted us to get her a home.
She is heartworm negative and is now spayed, plus a few other minor vet needs. She is a sweet girl, shy and very timid. She will do best in a calm, loving home environment with an owner who can go slow with her, work with her and help her to feel comfortable, loved and happy. She has never been with children or cats. She will do best in an all adult home.
Her adoption fee is: $400.
