This nice 10 year old cocker girl has had her heartworm treatment. She is a real sweetheart and will be a wonderful addition to a loving home. She is in a foster home and doing well but she needs a home of her own.
Please don't overlook me, my name is Maisy. I am a petite reddish buff 10 year old cocker spaniel girl I was found as a stray by NC Animal Control. No owner came to claim me so the shelter asked for rescue help because I tested as heartworm positive. I am a real sweetheart, friendly and a loving girl. When I came here to rescue they found that I had skin issues due to dermatitis, a tumor in my ear, a cataract, some rotten teeth that needed to come out and I needed to be spayed. Lucky for me, all of my issues have been taken care of. I completed heartworm treatment and recovered well. I am blind in one eye but it doesn't seem to bother me. I am still a nice little girl doggie that you would enjoy having as a part of the family.
I will need a bit of help with house training in a new home environment. If you are consistent with letting me out and don't keep me inside for long time periods, I should do well. I will be a wonderful companion for you to love. Maybe I can be your sweet baby girl, a best friend and spend lots of quality time with you indoors. I would love to be spoiled, share a great life with you and be your sweet, friendly companion. Please adopt me, I would love to be your walking partner to get my exercise. I may be an older doggy, but I am healthy and will be a great companion. I have so much love to give, maybe my new home is with you.
My adoption fee is: $350.
