No Phone Calls: This very pretty cocker girl has ear issues that are improving with medicine... initially the vet told us we might have to do ear ablation. She has now had her first and second doses of a 3 dose heartworm treatment. We need to raise $620.00 to cover her vet costs.
PLEASE DONATE TO HELP US: We need funds coming in to cover the costs of her vet care. She was in bad shape when we got her from the shelter. We spent $900 plus for her vet visits and that was before starting HW treatment. We need your financial help to cover the vet costs for her 3 dose heartworm treatment of $620. Thank you for your kindness, please donate today!
Meet Lady, a tri-colored Cocker Spaniel girl about 4 years old. She was turned into a NC shelter the Friday of Memorial Day weekend with her elderly owner saying she just couldn't afford to care for her anymore. She hadn't been groomed in quite awhile, her ears were badly neglected and it looked like she might need bilateral ear ablation. In addition, her eyes were dripping with gunk and dried chunks of dirty goo and she had never been spayed. The shelter gave her a rabies shot. They asked us for rescue help to get her grooming and vet care needs taken care of with her ear issues being a priority to help her feel better.
When our rescue vet evaluated her, we were told that both of her ears might require ear ablation. An option they mentioned was to put her on ear medicines to see if it would and we did. Currently, both ears are actually getting better. Unfortunately, she tested as heartworm positive. She has now had the first and second appointment of a 3 dose treatment to get her well. She has meds for dry eye and she was treated for a urinary tract infection. She is now spayed and she had a dental. Each of her needs has been taken care of one by one. We sure could use some financial help to pay all of her vet costs as we are a small rescue and funds go out quickly to pay for vet needs. Please help this wonderful cocker lady to get well. After her 3rd treatment next month and some recovery time, she can find her forever home. She is a nice, very sweet girl who will make someone really happy to adopt her, love her and spend time with her as a great companion friend. Please donate today to help CCR get vet care needs done for this wonderful sweetheart. We appreciate your kindness and Your donations are tax deductible.
