Meet Koco, a spayed 2 1/2 year old chocolate n tan cocker spaniel girl. Her owner was a victim of Hurricane Florence and lost their nice home. When told to evacuate, she rented a U-Haul trailer, loaded up what she could plus this sweet girl and several other dogs. After numerous days of rain and winds, the storm finally passed the area where they lived. When they returned to their home, there was nothing left, it was in shambles. With nowhere to call home, the owner couldn't keep her dogs without it costing her financially. She was heartbroken and sad to give them up. With only limited supplies and no place to keep the dogs there wasn't a choice. She looked into rescue help so that her dogs could have a better life. The Goldens and Labs went to one rescue and we stepped up to take this sweet cocker girl.

She came here with a cherry eye, so we had to raise the money to get it fixed. The procedure was done and she just needed recovery time to make sure the eye tacking held. She is heartworm negative, micro-chipped, child friendly and dog social. The children she lived with were 7 and 9. The Goldens and Labs were her playmates and indoor companions. They all did well living together as a family. She has never been with cats. She is a calm, friendly sweet girl and very laid back. She would love to be your sweet baby girl.

Her adoption fee is: $400.
