Meet Hoss, a 4 month old bigger black cocker boy puppy mix with white on his nose, 4 white dipped feet and a docked tail. He was one of eight puppies born on March 4, 2017. He is possibly mixed with pointer, not sure. His mother was a petite, very pretty blondish/amber colored cocker spaniel with a nice disposition. She was picked up by NC Animal Control as a stray. When no owner showed to claim her, the shelter asked for rescue help because she was very pregnant. Eight days after she came into rescue they were all born on a sunny Saturday.
He is a friendly, sweet guy and has great socialization skills. He is dog social and a sweet, cuddly guy. He is playful, dog friendly and has a loving, outgoing disposition. His mother was very loving and good to her pups. All 8 of them were well socialized puppies who got along pretty well most of the time. He has had proper food and vet care since birth. He is current on necessary puppy shots, deworming etc. We cannot tell you just how big he will get, but we think he could be as much as 40 pounds, more or less depending on how big the father was in comparison to his 18 to 20 pound cocker mom. At 6 months old, you will be required to get him neutered and send proof of neuter paperwork back to this rescue for our files.
SUMMER SPECIAL: His Adoption fee is now $350. It was $400.
