Meet Gracie, a black one year old cocker girl with a bit of white on her chest area. She was adopted as a young pup from a well known breeder and has had a good life. Her owners recently had their first baby so she was turned into the Humane Society because she jumped up on the baby crib to see her. She never tried to hurt her, she was just curious. At the shelter, they left her and walked out the door with her watching them; scared and sad, because she thought they loved her. The staff put her into a crate for folks to adopt and found that she is crate aggressive as dogs walked by her, so people looking for a dog would see this and pass her up. They didn't know, she just hated to be crated but does well when left loose with other dogs. We found this out after they contacted us to help her get a home.
She is heartworm negative, house trained and is now spayed. She is a super happy, tail wagging little girl. She does not like to be crated, but does well when left loose with other dogs. She came to rescue and needed to be cleaned up and groomed. She had coccidi, this was treated at the shelter. We have done a follow up vet visit to make sure that it is gone. She is a happy, happy girl and would love to be your new best friend, very loved and a great indoor companion for you to spend quality time with. Please fill out the adoption application to be approved so that you can be approved to meet her. She is a wonderful girl to adopt and love, she deserves to have a 2nd chance and a great life.
Her adoption fee is: $400.
