NO CHILDREN IN A HOME for this young cocker boy.
Meet Buck, a black neutered cocker spaniel puppy about a year old. He was surrendered to a NC Shelter by his owner. They got him as a young pup from a breeder. As a youngster growing up, he needed guidance to become a good companion. His family was not dog savy on how to train him properly so he did not do well with their children and would snap at them. This said, he now needs to find a new forever home WITH NO CHILDREN. Here at CCR, he has learned to play with some of the cockers and has done well. He has a best cocker buddy that he enjoys hanging out with and they play together a lot.
He is heartworm negative, about 27 pounds and current on vet needs. When he first came to rescue he was a very needy dog, would jump on you and constantly wanted attention. Now, he has calmed down considerably and is such a good boy. He loves to play, likes attention and love and would enjoy spending quality time with you in a loving home environment. When he meets you for the first time, he is a bit leery at first, so just give him a few minutes and he will warm up to you. He will need your help with socialization and some minor anxiety issues to be a good companion. He cannot be placed into a home with children, they make him nervous with quick movements and he does not do well with them. Please give this cute cocker kid a 2nd chance to be adopted into a home with someone who will appreciate and love him for the special youngster that we have come to know. Fill out an application with his name on it to be approved ........he would love to meet you!
His adoption fee is $400.
