Good with children 6 years and older, should be the only dog in the home or with one dog social pal who will not try to dominate her.
Meet Bailey, a spayed 2 year old black n tan cocker girl. She is an owner surrender to rescue looking for a new forever home because the family couldn't handle a lot of stress with their health issues. She didn't get along with their older Chihuahua doggie possibly due to dominance issues.
She is in good health, current on vet needs and heartworm negative. She is adjusting pretty well to being around the cocker dogs at the rescue. She does get frustrated and will act out a bit when crated if any of the senior dogs get near her crate door. We feel that she will do best as the only dog in a home or she can be with one other playful pal who is dog social and wants a buddy but will not act dominate towards her. The dominance issue may have been her problem with the Chihuahua, causing the stress to her owners. She can be placed into a home with children 6 years and older. She is somewhat house trained and a sweet girl who would love to spend quality time with you. She will be a nice companion for you to love.
Her adoption fee is: $400.
