**This nice cocker boy needs a home without children and someone who can spend a lot of quality time with him.
Meet Audi, a black 6 year old cocker boy looking for a new forever home. He might have just a hint of something else in him too, not sure. His owner was going to give him up to a NC shelter. Instead, a staff worker helped his family to get him into rescue. His owners were nice people, treated him well, loved him and he was their sweet baby boy. They had a child and he got jealous. He had always been the center of their love and attention so he didn't do well with the new baby in their lives. Knowing that he deserved to have a good life and someone to spoil him, sadly they gave him up. We arranged transport with the help of two volunteers to bring him here to the rescue.
He is heartworm negative, neutered and current on shots. He is a good boy but he can be stubborn. He loves walks, cuddling with you and spending quality time just hanging out as your companion. He is a good sleeper when he needs a nap or it is time to retire at night. He will do best with someone who can give him lots of attention and will not leave him alone for long time periods. He needs to be with his human companion, spending quality time with you. He will be a wonderful companion for someone to adopt and love............. but you will need to hang on tight as he is a strong guy on a leash. He will do best with a fenced backyard. He is on a Venison food diet and you will need to be diligent about keeping his ears clean, as he tends to have ear infections if you let them go without cleaning them often. If you are a walker, maybe he could be your walking pal and you could get some exercise. Please give this nice boy cocker a 2nd chance to have the loving home environment that he deserves. Maybe he could be your new best friend!
